The SMC C(D)Q2-Z Compact Cylinder is designed for applications requiring a compact and lightweight solution. This double acting, single rod cylinder offers a wide range of bore sizes from 12mm to 100mm, making it versatile for various industrial uses. The cylinder's compact body design allows for space-saving installations, and it supports the mounting of small auto switches on up to four surfaces, enhancing its functionality without increasing its footprint.
This series includes new sizes (Φ4, Φ6, and Φ10) and a comprehensive lineup extending up to Φ200. The CDQ2-Z series is engineered for reduced weight, achieving a 5-13% weight reduction compared to previous models. This makes it ideal for applications where weight is a critical factor. Additionally, the cylinder features pivot brackets for double clevis and compact type foot brackets, providing greater mounting flexibility.
Key benefits include the elimination of auto switch projection, contributing to a more streamlined profile, and the availability of part numbers with rod end brackets and/or mounting bolts, simplifying the ordering process. The cylinder is compatible with various auto switch series, including CDQ2, CDQ2W, CDQ2K, CDQ2KW, CDQP2, CDQ2□S, and CDBQ2, ensuring broad applicability across different setups.
