The SMC CKZT40-105T-X2798R Power Clamp Cylinder is designed for robust and reliable clamping applications. Featuring a bore size of 40mm and an arm opening angle of 105°, this cylinder ensures precise and secure clamping. The unit is equipped with a Turck switch for accurate position sensing and a manually operated handle mounted on the right side for ease of use. The cylinder port type is G, and it includes a rubber cover for added protection.

This double-acting cylinder operates with air as the fluid medium and is suitable for ambient and fluid temperatures ranging from -10 to 60°C. It offers a maximum operating pressure of 0.8 MPa and a proof pressure of 1.2 MPa, ensuring durability and reliability in demanding environments. The unclamping side features a rubber bumper for cushioning, while the clamping side has no cushioning, providing a firm grip.

The proximity switch has an operating range of 2 mm ± 10%, a continuous load current of 150 mA, and a response frequency of 30 Hz. The housing material is PBT-GP30, with output indications of red for clamping and yellow for unclamping, and a green voltage indication. The cylinder stroke is 58.4 mm, and it is designed to handle a maximum clamping moment of 118 N·m at 0.5 MPa and an allowable locking moment of 380 N·m.
