The KTB FS 624520 S4E1 terminal box is constructed from stainless steel 1.4404 (316L) with an electropolished finish, ensuring durability in challenging environments. With dimensions of 620 mm in height, 450 mm in width, and 200 mm in depth, it is suitable for use in explosive risk zones, the process industry, and sectors such as oil and gas, as well as chemical industries.

This enclosure features a bottom gland plate and is designed to accommodate a range of cable glands, including M12, M16, M20, M25, M32, M40, M50, M63, and M75, ensuring flexible connectivity options. The maximum payload capacity is 112 kg, and the enclosure is equipped with internal mounting dimensions of 476 mm in width and 450 mm in height.

For reliable grounding, it includes a welded-on M6 stainless-steel earth stud and a continuous M10 earth stud. The box complies with various standards, including DIN EN 62208 and IEC 60079, and offers a protection degree of IP66/IP67, with an operational temperature range from -60 °C to 135 °C. This terminal box is certified for use in hazardous locations, as indicated by its ATEX and IECEx certifications, including certificates IBExU14ATEX1050 and IECEXIBE14.0013.
