The PSR6-600-70 is a space-saving softstarter designed for reliable motor control in standard industrial applications. With a maximum operational current of 6 A and a wide supply voltage range from 208 to 600 V AC, it supports a rated control voltage between 100 and 240 V AC at 50/60 Hz.

Utilizing two-phase control, the PSR6-600-70 provides smooth motor starting and stopping via an adjustable voltage ramp. The integrated bypass contactor reduces heat dissipation and wiring complexity, contributing to efficient energy usage and simplified installation.

The unit features a relay output that offers a RUN signal in a normally open (NO) state. Users can easily configure the start and stop ramp times using three front-facing potentiometers.

Designed to pair seamlessly with ABB manual motor starters (MMS), the PSR softstarter also supports Fieldbus integration through an optional external adapter and plug.

The PSR series represents ABB’s most compact line of softstarters, offering essential functionality for small motors ranging from 3 to 105 A. These softstarters handle up to 100 starts per hour, making them ideal for frequent-start applications such as pumps, fans, compressors, and conveyor systems.
