The S201-B32 model is part of the System pro M compact S200 series of miniature circuit breakers (MCBs), designed to offer current limiting protection. It incorporates two distinct tripping mechanisms: a delayed thermal mechanism for overload protection and an electromechanical mechanism for short circuit protection. The device is rated for an operational voltage of 230/400 V AC, with a rated short-circuit capacity of 6 kA.

Compliant with standards such as IEC/EN 60898-1, IEC/EN 60947-2, and UL 1077, this MCB is suitable for use in residential, commercial, and industrial applications. The unit has a compact design, fitting within a single modular spacing of 17.5 mm, and can be mounted on standard DIN rails (TH35-15 and TH35-7.5) in any orientation.

The environmental conditions for operation range from -25 to +55 °C, and the device is rated for an overvoltage category of III. Its housing is constructed from insulation group II materials and offers a degree of protection of IP20, while an enclosure with cover reaches IP40. The unit also includes a contact position indication feature and is designed for easy installation with screw terminals.
