The S204M-C8 miniature circuit breaker features current limiting capabilities with two distinct tripping mechanisms: a delayed thermal tripping mechanism for overload protection and an electromechanical mechanism for short circuit protection. This model is compliant with IEC/EN 60898-1 and IEC/EN 60947-2 standards, making it suitable for a range of applications across residential, commercial, and industrial environments.
It supports various configurations, including 4 poles, and has a rated operational voltage of up to 400 V AC. The S204M-C8 can handle a rated short-circuit capacity of 10 kA at 230 V AC and 10 kA at 400 V AC. With a compact design, it has a net width of 70 mm and a height of 88 mm, allowing for efficient installation on DIN rails (TH35-15 and TH35-7.5), and can be mounted in any position.
This product also features a degree of protection of IP20, with an optional enclosure cover providing IP40 protection. Environmental considerations are integrated into its design, with a recyclability rate of 80.7% according to EN45555 and compliance with RoHS directives.
