Product Description

The S203P-D40 Miniature Circuit Breaker features a current limiting design with two distinct tripping mechanisms: a delayed thermal mechanism for overload protection and an electromechanical mechanism for short circuit protection. This model is part of the S200P series, which includes various configurations such as 1P, 2P, and 4P, along with breaking capacities reaching up to 25 kA at 230/400 V AC.

Compliant with standards including IEC/EN 60898-1, IEC/EN 60947-2, UL 1077, and CSA 22.2 No. 235, the S203P-D40 is suitable for residential, commercial, and industrial applications. The device can accommodate a bottom-fitting auxiliary contact, optimizing space usage by 50%.

With a rated operational voltage of 400 V AC and a rated current of 40 A, it offers significant short-circuit protection capabilities, with a rated ultimate short-circuit breaking capacity of 25 kA at 230 V AC. Designed for installation on DIN rail TH35-15, it supports various conductor sizes and is rated for operation in ambient temperatures from -25 °C to +55 °C.
