AF40 4-Pole Contactors
Product Description
The AF40 series of 4-pole contactors is specifically designed for managing non-inductive or slightly inductive loads, such as resistance furnaces. These contactors are capable of handling control voltages ranging from 24 to 500 V AC at 50/60 Hz or 20 to 500 V DC. They feature built-in surge protection and do not require additional surge suppressors.
The AF40 series contactors are of the block type design, featuring 4 N.O. main poles and front and side-mounted add-on auxiliary contact blocks. These auxiliary contacts comply with Annex L of IEC 60947-5-1 for mechanical linkage and Annex F of IEC 60947-4-1 for N.C. mirror contacts.
The control circuit of these contactors can be operated using either AC or DC power, making them versatile for various applications. A wide range of accessories is also available to enhance their functionality and compatibility with different systems.
