The ABB Pressductor PillowBlock Load Cells (PFTL101) are designed for horizontal force measurement in applications with low tension levels, heavy rolls, and high operating speeds, commonly found in the paper industry. The PillowBlock load cells come in three versions to cater to different needs:
Standard Version (PFTL 101A/B): This version is perfect for accurate measurement in paper machines, calenders, coaters, and winders.
Mill Duty Version (PFTL 101AE/BE): Recommended for web tension measurement in dryer sections of paper machines, this version features a fixed connection cable and IP66 protection, ensuring reliable performance and long service life.
Acid Resistant Version (PFTL 101AER/BER): Designed for the wet end of paper machines, this version offers IP66/67 protection to withstand harsh environments.
All versions utilize Pressductor® technology for precise and dependable measurements, making them essential for maintaining optimal tension control in various paper production processes.
