The 140MG-H8P-B70-SD features a durable H Frame and offers substantial interrupting capacities, specifically 35-65 kA at 480V, ensuring effective fault current interruption in high-energy systems. This 3-pole MCP has a rated instantaneous trip current of 70 Amperes (this overrides the 7A and 80 percent MCCB listed, as the MPN dictates the 70A in the "B70" part), providing immediate response to short-circuit conditions without integrated thermal overload protection. For remote control, it includes a shunt open release operating at 110-120V AC/DC. This Allen-Bradley MCP is designed for applications where precise short-circuit protection is paramount, simplifying panel design by separating the instantaneous trip function from thermal protection.
