The Intraground™ N1 and N2 Series Control Stations are engineered for use in harsh, corrosive environments. The N1 Series features non-factory sealed enclosures, while the N2 Series provides factory sealed options. Both variants utilize a 30% glass-reinforced thermoplastic polyetherimide for the housing, with components such as Teflon™ coated stainless steel cover bolts and Mylar™ nameplates enhancing their chemical resistance.

These control stations support a range of push buttons and selector switches compatible with contactors or magnetic starters, facilitating the remote control of motors in hazardous locations. Options for pilot lights are available, giving visual confirmation of electrical operation at remote or local sites.

Each push button is crafted from copper-free aluminum, while the lower barrel incorporates a phenolic material with nylon plastic buttons. The pilot light assembly comprises copper-free aluminum and is fitted with a tempered glass jewel, providing robust visibility. The selector switch mechanism is also constructed from copper-free aluminum, featuring a sealed phenolic contact block.

The selector switches can operate in modified three-position configurations, allowing for momentary contact in either direction with a spring return to the center. Various pilot light colors are available, including amber, blue, clear, green, and opal, alongside LED options in red, amber, and green.
