Product Description

The PLG Close-Up Plugs and BR Reducers are engineered to meet explosionproof and dust-ignitionproof standards, making them ideal for various industrial applications. These components are utilized to securely close threaded conduit openings and reduce the size of conduit openings. The plugs are crafted from copper-free aluminum or steel, ensuring durability and compliance with industry requirements.

Specifically, the standard materials for the plugs range from 1/2 to 1 inch in copper-free aluminum with a natural finish or steel with a zinc electroplate. For sizes from 1-1/4 to 6 inches, they are available in copper-free aluminum with a natural finish or malleable iron with zinc electroplate. The reducers utilize copper-free aluminum with an epoxy powder coat finish or malleable iron with a triple-coat finish consisting of zinc electroplate, chromate, and epoxy powder coat.

This product adheres to NEC/CEC certifications, classified under Class I, Division 1 and 2, Groups A, B, C, D; Class II, Division 1 and 2, Groups E, F, G; and Class III. The versatility and compliance of the PLG series ensure safe and reliable operation in hazardous environments.
