The Banner Engineering PVD100Q Parts Verification Sensor is an advanced, one-component system designed for error-proofing in bin-picking and part assembly applications. This versatile sensor operates in both diffuse and retroreflective modes, automatically adjusting based on the application. With a range of up to 2 meters in retroreflective mode and 400 mm in diffuse mode, it ensures accurate and reliable detection.

The PVD100Q features a compact design, measuring only 30 mm wide and 15 mm deep, making it easy to mount in tight spaces. It includes large job lights on either side of the metal housing, which can be remotely controlled to initiate user actions with solid or blinking green lights. These lights turn red to indicate bin-picking errors, enhancing task efficiency and reducing rework.

Installation and setup are simplified with easy DIP-switch adjustments for PNP/NPN output, normally open/normally closed operation, solid/flashing job light, and gate polarity for job light activation. The sensor is equipped with two LEDs to indicate power ON and output ON status. The PVD100Q comes with a 2-meter integral PVC-jacketed cable and a 5-pin M12 male quick-disconnect connector for easy integration into existing systems.
