The Beckhoff EP1018-0001 EtherCAT Box with digital inputs acquires binary control signals from the process level and transmits them, in an electrically isolated form, to the controller. The state of the signals is indicated by light emitting diodes, ensuring clear and immediate feedback.

8-channel digital input with 24 V DC nominal input voltage

Input filter of 10 µs for precise electronic inputs

M8 screw-type connectors for secure connections

Short-circuit proof sensor supply with a total of 0.5 A

The sensors are supplied from the box supply voltage US, while the load voltage UP is optionally connected for forwarding to the next module. The internal driver module ensures short-circuit proof supply to all connected sensors.
