Product Description
The RS-232/422 Low Cap cable is constructed with 24 AWG stranded tinned copper conductors arranged in four twisted pairs. Each conductor is insulated with Datalene® material and the cable is shielded with a combination of Beldfoil® covering 100% of the surface and a tinned copper braid that provides 65% coverage, ensuring effective interference protection. The drain wire is also made of 24 AWG stranded tinned copper.
The overall jacket is made from PVC, providing durability and flexibility, with an operating temperature range of -30°C to +80°C and a UL temperature rating of 80°C (UL AWM 2919). This cable complies with various safety standards, including CM for NEC/(UL) compliance and is suitable for indoor use. The bulk cable weight is 42 lbs per 1000 feet.
With a minimum bend radius of 2.8 inches during installation, this cable is designed for ease of use in various applications. The designation code for this product is 2919, indicating its UL AWM style compliance.
