The Aluminum YCS30R is designed as a splice connector suitable for ACSR, All Aluminum, 6201, 5005, and compressed conductors. With a total length of 6.47 inches and an outside diameter of 1 inch, this connector is tailored for applications requiring robust performance under tensile and vibration stresses.
Constructed from aluminum and featuring a staked cable stop, it aligns with the ANSI C119.4 CLASS 2 (PARTIAL TENSION) standard and carries an index of 251. The design incorporates a prefilled oxide inhibitor to enhance its functionality and longevity.
It is compatible with various conductor sizes, including AAAC 5005 and 6201 at 312.8 (19) kcmil, as well as ACSR stranded conductors such as the Waxwing, Owl, and Partridge configurations. This connector does not include plating and adheres to industry standards set by RUS.
