Product Description

The EUCHNER CEM-I2-AY-U-C40-SA-128103 Transponder-coded Safety Switch is designed to provide superior safety and process protection in industrial environments. This advanced safety switch features guard locking actuated by energy ON and released by energy OFF, ensuring reliable operation. With a solenoid locking force of 600 N and adhesive-force adjustment in three levels, it offers robust security for various applications.

Integrated evaluation electronics enhance functionality, including short circuit monitoring and two semiconductor safety outputs. The switch supports up to category 4 / PL e according to EN ISO 13849-1 for door position monitoring, making it suitable for high-risk areas. The Unicode door monitoring and evaluation system ensures that each actuator is highly coded, detecting only taught-in actuators for added security.

The plug connector M12 facilitates easy installation and connection, with clear pin assignments for control voltage, operating voltage, safety outputs, diagnostic output, door monitoring output, guard lock monitoring output, and operating voltage ground. This transponder-coded safety switch is ideal for applications requiring stringent safety measures and reliable guard locking mechanisms.
