The CKF-316 Phase Sequence and Loss Sensor is designed to safeguard three-phase electric motors from potential damage caused by phase loss or voltage asymmetry. This sensor is essential for maintaining the integrity and performance of motors in industrial applications. It automatically disconnects the motor if voltage drops in any phase or if there is a significant voltage imbalance, preventing motor damage. The sensor also ensures the correct rotation direction of the motor by monitoring phase sequence changes, preventing undesired motor operation.
In the event of voltage loss or asymmetry exceeding the activation threshold, the sensor will disconnect the motor with a 4-second delay to avoid accidental shutdowns due to temporary voltage drops. The motor will automatically reconnect when the voltage increases by 5V above the activation threshold, ensuring seamless operation. If the phase sequence changes, the sensor will prevent the motor from starting until the correct sequence is restored.
The CKF-316 is equipped with a relay actuator, has a maximum load current of 8A, and features a single NO/NC contact configuration. It includes LED indicators for power monitoring and is designed for easy installation on a 35mm DIN rail. With a robust design and reliable performance, the CKF-316 is an ideal solution for protecting motors in various industrial settings.
