Festo DSNU-16-50-PPV-A-Q

The ISO Cylinder DSNU-16- from Festo is designed for a wide range of industrial applications, offering high performance and reliability. Conforming to ISO 6432 standards, this double-acting cylinder features a piston diameter of 16 mm and a stroke range of 1 mm to 200 mm. It is equipped with elastic cushioning rings/pads at both ends, ensuring smooth operation and longevity.

The cylinder is versatile in its mounting position and can be used with various accessories. It supports position sensing for proximity sensors and offers multiple variants, including stroke adjustment, weld spatter protection, and low friction for balancer applications. The robust design includes a high-alloy stainless steel piston rod and cylinder barrel, providing excellent corrosion resistance.

With a wide operating pressure range of 0.1 MPa to 1 MPa and an ambient temperature range of -20°C to 120°C, the DSNU-16- is suitable for demanding environments. It is compliant with ATEX and UKCA explosion protection directives, making it safe for use in explosive atmospheres (Zones 1, 2, 21, and 22).

This cylinder is also RoHS-compliant and meets the VDMA24364-B1/B2-L and VDMA24364 zone III standards for LABS (PWIS) conformity. The operating medium is compressed air as per ISO 8573-1:2010 [7:4:4], and it can be operated with oil lubrication if required.
