This product consists of IDC connectors designed with 4 contacts and a rated current of 1.76 A. The connectors are constructed from copper alloy, with a gold over nickel finish on the mating side and tin plating on the termination side. The body is made from zinc die-cast material, nickel plated, ensuring durability and reliability.
Operating under a degree of protection classified as IP20, these connectors support a conductor cross-section ranging from AWG 26/7 to AWG 22/7 for stranded wires, and AWG 26/1 to AWG 22/1 for solid wires. The wire outer diameter supported is between 0.8 and 1.6 mm, accommodating various cable diameters of 4.5 to 9 mm.
These connectors are compliant with IEC 60603-7 and IEC 11801 specifications and are suitable for applications with rated voltages of up to 50 V AC and 60 V DC. The insulation resistance exceeds 5 x 10, while the contact resistance remains ≤ 20 mΩ. With a limiting temperature range of -40 to +85 °C, they are capable of withstanding diverse environmental conditions.
The connectors are designed for a minimum of 750 mating cycles and can handle insertion and withdrawal forces of ≤ 25 N. For data transmission, they support Category 5 Class D up to 100 MHz with data rates of up to 100 Mbit/s. This product is part of the HARTING RJ Industrial series and is compliant with RoHS and other environmental regulations.
