The HILGER frenomat® und frenostat® Electronic Brake Units offer a quick and reliable way to bring three-phase AC motors to a standstill without any mechanical wear. The frenomat 2 electronic brake unit is designed to brake motors with a power output of up to 3 kW efficiently. These units are compact and suitable for snap-fitting on DIN rails, housed in a rigid and unbreakable plastic enclosure. Both the braking current and braking time are infinitely variable and can be adjusted manually, ensuring maximum control and precision.

The frenomat 2 is equipped with a standstill monitoring unit on terminal n1, making it ideal for drives with frequently changing rotating masses. The frenostat 2000 series is available in four different sizes, capable of braking motors within a power output range from 3 to 100 kW. The frenostat 2000 Size 2 can handle maximum braking currents of 100 A, 150 A, and 200 A, providing versatile options for various industrial applications.
