The Class 3400 Smart Meter (H34) is designed for advanced energy monitoring in commercial and industrial settings. It supports dual protocol communications, allowing simultaneous connectivity with up to two energy monitoring systems, including building automation systems and measurement and verification reporting tools.

This model features a robust 4-line LCD display with backlighting for clear visibility and operates within a temperature range of -4 °F to 122 °F (-20 °C to 50 °C). It requires a 3 or 4 wire input voltage configuration and has a maximum operating humidity of 95% non-condensing. The meter is compliant with ANSI C12.20 and UL/CUL standards and is housed in a NEMA 4X enclosure.

With an accuracy of ±1% across its rated load, the Class 3400 provides reliable monitoring with 38 data points for electrical usage analysis. Optional capabilities include an expanded feature pack for load control, along with two pulse outputs for kWh and kVARh. This model does not include current sensors, utilizing split-core sensors instead. The communication protocols supported are EZ-7 and BACnet IP, making it suitable for a variety of applications.
