The Class 3400 (H34) Smart Meters facilitate advanced dual protocol communications, allowing simultaneous interaction with up to two energy management systems. These include Building Automation Systems (BAS) for energy monitoring and billing, as well as Measurement and Verification (M&V) reporting tools. The optional feature package enhances functionality with load control capabilities and provides two pulse outputs for kWh and kVARh.

Equipped with a 4-line LCD display that includes a backlight, this meter also supports RS485 and Ethernet communication protocols. The device measures 6.5 inches in width, 7.8 inches in height, and 3.4 inches in depth, with a total weight of 7.28 pounds. It operates efficiently within a temperature range from -4 °F to 122 °F and can handle humidity levels up to 95% non-condensing.

This Class 3400 meter is compliant with ANSI C12.20 and UL/CUL standards, ensuring reliability for commercial and industrial applications. It provides 38 data points for monitoring electrical usage, with an accuracy of ±1% across the rated load range of 1% to 100%.
