The Class 3400 (H34) Smart Meter is equipped with advanced dual protocol communications, facilitating simultaneous connections to two energy monitoring systems. This includes integration with Building Automation Systems (BAS) for both energy monitoring and billing applications, as well as Measurement and Verification (M&V) reporting tools.

Enhanced functionality can be achieved through an optional expanded feature package that offers built-in load control capabilities and two pulse outputs for kWh and kVARh measurements. The device features a four-line LCD display with backlight, ensuring clear visibility of data, while supporting RS485 and Ethernet communication protocols.

With dimensions of 6.5 inches in width, 7.8 inches in height, and a depth of 3.4 inches, the submeter is designed for commercial and industrial environments. Its robust enclosure meets JIC Steel standards, and it operates effectively within a temperature range from -4 °F to 122 °F (-20 °C to 50 °C) with a maximum humidity level of 95% non-condensing.
