Product Description

The Class 3400 (H34) Smart Meters facilitate advanced dual protocol communications, allowing for simultaneous interaction with two energy monitoring systems, including BAS systems and M&V reporting tools. This submeter features a robust 4-line LCD display equipped with backlighting, enhancing visibility in various lighting conditions.

With an operating range that accommodates ambient temperatures from -4 °F (-20 °C) to 122 °F (50 °C) and a maximum humidity level of 95% non-condensing, the device is suitable for diverse commercial and industrial applications. The submeter is constructed with a JIC Steel enclosure, ensuring durability in demanding environments.

It includes three split-core current sensors, providing a current sensor output of 2 V, and supports both LonWorks TP/FT-10 and EZ-7 Ethernet communication protocols. Furthermore, the system operates with an accuracy of ±1% across 1% to 100% of the rated load, making it a reliable choice for precise energy monitoring.

Additional functionalities encompass built-in load control and two pulse outputs for kWh and kVARh, enhancing its utility for energy management and billing programs. The Class 3400 designation code signifies its advanced capabilities within the realm of energy monitoring.
