Product Description
The Safety-Shroud Receptacle is designed for secure connections in demanding environments. This twist-lock device accommodates a 3-pole, 4-wire grounding scheme and supports a maximum current of 20A at 480V AC, complying with NEMA L16-20R specifications. The shrouded design enhances safety, while the durable gray housing is constructed from impact-modified PBT, ensuring resilience in various settings.
Operationally, it features a temperature rise limit of 30°C at full rated current after extensive overload cycles. The receptacle can handle wire sizes from #16 AWG to #8 AWG, making it versatile for different applications. Its dielectric voltage withstand capability is rated at a minimum of 2,000V, ensuring reliable performance under electrical stress.
Further enhancing its robustness, the terminal materials include nickel-plated steel for clamps and brass for screws, ensuring longevity and performance. The product is also certified for current interrupting at full rated current, providing additional safety during operation.
