Product Description
The Insulgrip Connector, designated as L18-30R, serves as a female connector body with a twist-lock mechanism. This component is rated for 30A at 3-Phase 120/208V AC and features a 4-Pole, 4-Wire Non-Grounding wiring scheme. The device is constructed from durable black nylon, while the terminal retainer is made of clear polycarbonate, ensuring both functionality and resilience.
Designed for use with round portable service cords ranging from .35 inches to 1.15 inches in diameter, it accommodates terminal wires of #10 AWG. The connector supports a dielectric voltage withstand of a minimum of 2,000V and is certified for current interrupting at full rated current. With a maximum temperature rise of 30°C at full rated current after 50 overload cycles, this connector operates efficiently within a temperature range of -40°C to 75°C.
The Insulgrip Connector also meets stringent flammability standards, rated HB or better per UL 94 and CSA 22.2 No. 0.6, ensuring safety and reliability in various environmental conditions. Its moisture resistance rating of IP20 further enhances its durability in challenging settings.
