The AS-Interface power supply, designated as PSU-1AC/ASi-8A, provides a reliable power source for modules, sensors, and actuators. It features high noise immunity and sufficient power reserves to handle current peaks effectively. The design allows for safe decoupling of interferences from the primary supply, ensuring stable operation.

This unit is optimized for space-saving installations, measuring 130.8 x 62 x 124.3 mm and is suitable for mounting on standard DIN rails (TH35). Its efficiency minimizes heating within control cabinets, operating at 89.4% efficiency at nominal voltage of 120 V AC and 90.9% at 230 V AC, which contributes to lower energy costs.

The power supply operates within an input voltage range of 100...120 V or 200...240 V AC and supports an output voltage of 30.5 V with a permanent output power rating of 244 W, peaking at 256 W. Additionally, it features overload protection, short-circuit proof outputs, and a maximum residual ripple of 100 mV.

Designed to function effectively in a wide range of environmental conditions, it can operate at ambient temperatures between -25 °C and 70 °C, with a maximum storage temperature of -40 °C to 85 °C. The unit is also rated for protection class IP 20, making it suitable for various industrial applications.
