The IO-Link AirBox is designed for decentralized control of cylinders and valve actuators, optimizing energy efficiency through proximity to the actuator. With its quick mounting technology, installation and wiring are simplified, allowing for tool-free setup.
Featuring a combination of an IO-Link device and a solenoid valve, the AirBox supports 8 digital inputs and 2 pneumatic outputs. It operates within a medium temperature range of -10 to 50 °C and is suitable for wet environments, utilizing compressed air as the operating medium. The device's electrical specifications include an operating voltage of 18 to 30 V DC, with a current consumption ranging from 80 to 680 mA under full load conditions.
In terms of communication, it employs the IO-Link interface with a transmission speed of 38.4 kBaud, compliant with IEC 61131-9 standards. The AirBox maintains compatibility with a range of device IDs while ensuring fast process cycle times of 2.7 ms minimum.
