The IFM E70188 Tap AS-i/24V M12 4A is designed to provide reliable and efficient connectivity for AS-i and external voltage applications. Featuring M12 sockets, this tap ensures robust and secure connections, making it ideal for industrial automation environments. The electrical design supports AS-i / 24 V with an operating voltage range of 26.5 to 31.6 DC (AS-i) and 24 DC, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of systems. With a maximum current load capacity of 4000 mA per module, it is capable of handling high power requirements.

Constructed with durable materials, including PA 6.6 for the housing and stainless steel 316L / 1.4404 for the socket housing and screws, this tap offers excellent resistance to environmental factors. The IP65 protection rating ensures reliable performance in harsh conditions, with an ambient temperature range of -25 to 75°C. The inclusion of an NBR O-ring in the socket further enhances its durability and sealing capabilities.

The electrical connection is straightforward, with clearly marked wiring terminals for AS-i +, 0V, AS-i -, +24V, and Protective Earth (PE). This ensures easy and error-free installation. The compact design, with a weight of just 0.112 kg, makes it easy to integrate into existing systems without adding significant bulk.
