The Keyence FD-XS8 Sensor Head is designed for accurate and reliable flow rate measurement in various industrial applications. This sensor head supports both metal and plastic pipes, accommodating a wide range of fluids including water, oil, adhesives, grease, and chemical solutions. With a maximum rated flow rate of 8 L/min, it ensures precise monitoring and control of fluid flow.

Featuring a versatile design, the FD-XS8 is compatible with pipe diameters of ø 6 mm and ø 8 mm, providing flexibility for different installation requirements. The sensor head offers exceptional repeatability and response times, ensuring consistent performance in demanding environments. The integrated display resolution allows for clear and precise readings of instantaneous flow rates and shot amounts.

Built to withstand harsh conditions, the FD-XS8 boasts an IP65/IP67 and IP68G enclosure rating, making it suitable for use in environments with high levels of dust and moisture. The sensor head operates effectively within a temperature range of -10 to 60 °C and a relative humidity of 35% to 85% RH, ensuring reliable performance even in challenging settings.

The FD-XS8 sensor head is constructed from durable materials such as PPS, PPSU, and PVC, providing long-lasting durability and resistance to wear and tear. The clamp set, available for both plastic and metal pipes, ensures secure attachment and accurate detection.
