Product Description

The Keyence GL-R16H Light Curtain is designed for high-resolution detection applications, featuring 16 optical axes and a detection capability of ø 25 mm. With a total length of 320 mm and a detection height of 300 mm, it ensures comprehensive coverage and protection. The GL-R16H operates effectively within a detection range of 0.2 to 15 meters, making it suitable for various industrial environments.

This light curtain utilizes an infrared LED light source (870 nm) and offers a response time of 6.6 ms for wired synchronization. It supports both optical and wired synchronization between the transmitter and receiver, ensuring reliable operation. The interference prevention function allows the use of up to two GL-R systems without mutual interference.

The GL-R16H features robust construction with an aluminum main unit housing and a polycarbonate front cover, providing IP65/IP67 protection against environmental factors. It complies with multiple safety standards, including IEC61496-1, EN61496-1, UL61496-1 (Type 4 ESPE) and EN ISO13849-1:2015 (Category 4, PL e), ensuring high safety and reliability in industrial applications.

Additional features include auxiliary transistor outputs, error outputs, and various input options for enhanced functionality. The light curtain is designed to operate in a wide range of environmental conditions, with a temperature range of -10 to +55°C and resistance to vibrations and shocks.
