Product Description

The Keyence GL-R52H is a high-performance hand-protection type main unit designed to enhance safety in industrial environments. Featuring 52 optical axes, this advanced safety light curtain offers a detection capability of ø25 mm and a protection height of 1065 mm, ensuring comprehensive coverage and reliable performance.

Equipped with an infrared LED light source, the GL-R52H operates within a detecting distance of 0.2 to 15 meters, providing flexibility for various applications. The unit supports both optical and wire synchronization, allowing seamless integration into existing systems. The light interference prevention function ensures stable operation by preventing mutual interference between up to two GL-R systems.

The GL-R52H offers robust control outputs with two transistor outputs (PNP or NPN) and a maximum load current of 500 mA. The unit also includes supplemental AUX transistor outputs for non-safety-related functions. The error output and muting lamp output features enhance operational efficiency and safety monitoring.

Designed to withstand harsh industrial environments, the GL-R52H boasts an enclosure rating of IP65/IP67, ensuring protection against dust and water ingress. The unit complies with various international safety standards, including IEC61496-1, EN61496-1, UL61496-1, and EN ISO13849-1:2015 (Category 4, PLe).
