The Keyence GL-R63F Finger-protection Light Curtain is designed to ensure maximum safety in industrial environments. Featuring 63 optical axes, this advanced light curtain provides precise detection with a capability of ø14 mm, making it ideal for finger protection. The unit has a total length of 640mm and a detection height of 620mm, ensuring comprehensive coverage.

Equipped with infrared LED technology (870 nm), the GL-R63F offers a detecting distance of 0.2 to 10 meters and an effective aperture angle of ±2.5°. The light curtain utilizes optical or wire synchronization between the transmitter and receiver, ensuring seamless operation and preventing mutual interference in up to two GL-R systems.

The control output includes two transistor outputs (PNP or NPN), with a maximum load current of 500 mA. The unit also features supplemental AUX transistor outputs for non-safety-related functions. Error outputs and muting lamp outputs are supported, allowing for versatile integration into various safety systems.

With a robust IP65/IP67 enclosure rating, the GL-R63F is built to withstand harsh industrial conditions. It complies with numerous safety standards, including IEC61496-1, EN61496-1, UL61496-1 (Type 4 ESPE), and EN ISO13849-1:2015 (Category 4, PLe). The unit is designed to operate in ambient temperatures ranging from -10 to +55 °C and can handle relative humidity levels of 15 to 85% RH.
