Product Description

The Keyence GL-R87F Safety Light Curtain is designed to provide superior protection in industrial environments. Featuring 87 optical axes, this main unit offers finger protection with a detection capability of ø14 mm. The GL-R87F ensures reliable operation with an infrared LED light source and advanced synchronization options, including optical and wire synchronization.

This safety light curtain is engineered to prevent mutual interference between multiple systems, making it ideal for complex setups. It supports both PNP and NPN transistor outputs, allowing for flexible integration into various control systems. The unit also includes supplemental AUX transistor outputs for non-safety-related functions.

With robust IP65/IP67 protection, the GL-R87F is built to withstand harsh industrial conditions. It complies with stringent safety standards such as IEC61496-1, EN61496-1, and UL61496-1, ensuring top-tier safety performance. The unit is also certified for SIL3 and PLe safety levels, making it suitable for high-risk applications.

The GL-R87F offers a wide detection range of 0.2 to 10 meters and an effective aperture angle of ±2.5°. It features a fast response time, ensuring minimal downtime and enhanced productivity. The unit's durable construction includes an aluminum main unit case, nylon upper and lower cases, and a polycarbonate front cover, ensuring long-lasting performance.
