Product Description

The Keyence GT2-A32 Sensor Head is a high-accuracy digital contact sensor designed for precision measurement applications. Utilizing the Scale Shot System, this sensor head ensures absolute measurements with no tracking errors. It features a 32 mm measuring range and a resolution of 0.5 μm, making it ideal for detailed and precise measurements.

Engineered for versatility, the GT2-A32 offers multiple mounting options with varying measuring forces: 2.1 N for downward mounting, 1.8 N for side mounting, and 1.5 N for upward mounting. The sensor operates with a sampling cycle of 1 ms and uses dry air as the fluid medium. An easy-to-read 2-colour LED indicator provides clear operational status.

Built to withstand harsh environments, the GT2-A32 boasts an IP67 enclosure rating and is resistant to pressures up to 1 MPa. It operates effectively within a temperature range of 0 to +55 °C and relative humidity of 35 to 85 % RH. The sensor is also designed to endure vibrations, ensuring reliable performance in industrial settings.

Constructed from durable materials, the main body is made of die-cast zinc and the cylinder section from aluminium alloy. The air joint is composed of polyacetal resin and nickel-plated brass, while the dust boot is made of NBR. The contact materials include SUS304 and SUS440C, ensuring longevity and reliability.
