The Keyence PZ-M61P is a robust square retro-reflective sensor designed for precise and reliable detection in industrial environments. Featuring a PNP output, this sensor is ideal for applications requiring accurate object detection within a range of 0.1 to 1.5 meters when used with the R-5 reflector. The sensor utilizes a red LED light source and offers a sensitivity adjustment via a 1-turn trimmer (230°), ensuring optimal performance in various conditions.
With a fast response time of 2 ms max and a switch-selectable LIGHT-ON/DARK-ON operation mode, the PZ-M61P provides flexibility and efficiency in diverse applications. The sensor is equipped with a control output of 100 mA (24 V) max, with a residual voltage of 1 V max, and includes protection circuits for reversed polarity, overcurrent, and surge absorption.
Built to withstand harsh environments, the PZ-M61P boasts an IP67 enclosure rating, making it resistant to dust and water. It operates reliably within a temperature range of -20 to +55 °C and can handle ambient light conditions up to 5,000 lux from incandescent lamps and 20,000 lux from sunlight. The sensor's durable construction includes a glass-fibre reinforced plastic case, ensuring long-lasting performance even under mechanical stress.
