The Knips® XL Cutting Pliers are engineered for precision cutting, especially in applications involving delicate tasks such as electronics and fine mechanics. These pliers feature ground cutting edges that are extremely sharp and designed without a bevel, providing a shear cut with controlled micro cutting edge misalignment. This design ensures the most accurate cutting, even for the thinnest wires, contributing to a prolonged service life.

With precision-shaped tips, these pliers can effectively cut wires as small as 1/64" in diameter. The joint is secured with a stainless steel rivet, facilitating smooth movement that minimizes operator fatigue. The tool is equipped with an opening spring and an opening limiter for operational efficiency. The hardness of the cutting edges is approximately 64 HRC, with additional induction hardening for enhanced durability. Constructed from special tool steel that has undergone multiple stages of oil hardening, these pliers have a black-oxide finish and burnished surfaces, while the handles are designed with multi-component grips for comfortable use.
