The Lenze SMD Series Braking Module is designed for use with Lenze SMD series inverters with power ratings from 11 to 22 kW and a 400V three-phase supply. This module includes a chopper but does not come with resistors, which must be ordered separately for proper operation. By converting excess energy into heat dissipated by the resistors, the braking module significantly reduces motor stopping time, enhancing operational efficiency and safety. Ideal for applications requiring rapid deceleration, this module ensures reliable performance and compliance with industrial standards.
