Littelfuse JLLS250
- JLLS Series Class T Fuses
Product Description
The JLLS250 - JLLS Series represents a significant advancement in fuse technology, being the smallest Class T fuses available for ratings exceeding 30 amperes, measuring less than one-third the size of similar Class R fuses. These fuses are rated according to the NEC and deliver rapid overload and short circuit protection for non-inductive circuits and equipment.
It is important to note that when employed in inductive circuits, the ampere rating of Class T fuses should be increased to accommodate inrush currents, potentially limiting their function to short circuit protection only. For motor applications and general circuits where space constraints are less of a concern, alternative options such as the POWR-PRO™ JTD_ID Indicator series or the LLNRK/LLSRK and FLSR_ID Indicator series are recommended.
With an ampere rating of 250 A, these fuses operate at a VAC of 600 and VDC of 300. They have an interrupting rating of 20,000 A at 300 VDC and feature a fast-acting opening mechanism. The package is designed in a knife-blade/bolt-in configuration, making it suitable for various applications requiring reliable protection.
