Product Description
The Littelfuse K2400G - Kxxxzy Series SIDAC is a silicon bilateral voltage-triggered switch designed for high-voltage power supplies, natural gas igniters, high-pressure sodium lamps, and xenon flash ignition. Upon application of a voltage exceeding the SIDAC breakover voltage point, the device switches on through a negative resistance region to a low on-state voltage. Conduction continues until the current is interrupted or drops below the minimum holding current of the device.
Featuring glass-passivated junctions, the SIDAC ensures rugged and dependable performance, capable of withstanding harsh environments. The device is RoHS compliant and supports a wide range of triggering voltages from 79V to 330V, making it suitable for various AC circuit-oriented applications.
