Product Description
The UltraMOV 25S Series varistors are engineered for applications that demand robust surge current handling and energy absorption capabilities. These devices are suitable for AC Line Voltage applications, offering effective voltage clamping for high transient surge currents. With a compact 25mm square form factor, they are available in a radial lead package with straight leads.
Manufactured with a recognized epoxy encapsulation, the varistors operate reliably at ambient temperatures up to 85°C without derating. The 25S Series supports a maximum rated DC voltage of 745V and a peak pulse current rating of 22,000A, making it ideal for high-demand environments. Additionally, the surge energy absorption capability is rated at 765J, ensuring durability against significant energy spikes. The clamp voltage is recorded at 1475V, with bi-directional clamp polarity, which enhances its application versatility.
