TPMOV 270V Short Leads Microswitch No Visual Tabs 75 kA 500 pk
Product Description
The TPMOV 270V Short Leads Microswitch integrates Mersen’s advanced TPMOV technology, which addresses typical failure modes associated with standard metal oxide varistors. This device includes a voltage clamping mechanism and a disconnecting system that continuously monitors the metal oxide disk, ensuring fail-safe operation.
Upon experiencing overvoltage, the metal oxide disk is effectively isolated from the power system by an arc shield. Additionally, this unit features a visual pin indicator and a normally open micro-switch for remote monitoring capabilities.
The TPMOV7 variant offers a surge capacity that is 50% greater than previous models while maintaining the same footprint. It is rated for a peak surge current of 75 kA at 8/20μs, with maximum continuous operating voltages (MCOV) ranging from 150V to 320VAC. The device operates within a frequency range of 50/60 Hz, with an operating temperature range from -40 °C to 85 °C.
