The Amp-Trap 2000® SmartSpot time-delay A6D-R fuses deliver IEC Type 2 "no damage" protection suitable for mains, feeders, and branch circuits handling both motor and non-motor loads. These fuses are engineered to open rapidly under extreme fault conditions, ensuring maximum short circuit protection to safeguard motor starters, switches, and additional circuit components. Furthermore, they provide the necessary time-delay to accommodate motor inrush currents. The A6D-R fuses are compatible replacements for older 600V Class H, K, or RK5 fuses already in service.

With a rated voltage of 600V AC and DC, these fuses feature a 450A ampere rating and comply with ROHS standards. The time-delay characteristic allows for appropriate protection while the SmartSpot® indication system enhances visibility of the fuse status. The fuse is mounted using a clip, has a maximum interrupting rating of 200 kA, and is constructed with a poly tube body for insulation. The connection terminals are made of tin-plated copper and feature a blade type connection.
