Product Description
The HV fuse is designed for use in high-voltage switchgear and control systems, offering reliable protection against short-circuit currents as defined by IEC 60282-1 standards. This specific model, Limitor®-P, serves as a back-up fuse, ensuring transformers are safeguarded effectively.
Constructed with premium materials, the fuse-elements are made from pure silver, while the caps are copper plated with silver and the body is ceramic. The fuse has a breaking capacity of 63 kA and a minimum interrupting rating of 430 A. Additionally, it can handle a power dissipation of 400 W at its rated current value.
With a fuse size of 78 mm in diameter and a length of 442 mm, it is designed for clip mounting and features cylindrical silver-plated copper connection terminals. The rated voltage for this fuse is 24 kV, making it suitable for demanding high-voltage applications.
