Product Description
The SB aR fuse-link is designed for high-performance applications, providing protection for power conversion equipment at a rated voltage of 690VAC IEC and 700VAC UL. This variant, size 33, is capable of handling an impressive current rating of 1000A and demonstrates a maximum interrupting capacity of 200kA.
Engineered specifically for the protection of semiconductors, including diodes, thyristors, and IGBT devices, this fuse-link features a robust construction with die-cut elements embedded in solidified sand, effectively controlling arcing characteristics. The low I²t clearing value of 990 kA²s and melting I²t of 170 kA²s enhance performance during fault conditions.
All contact surfaces are silver-plated, ensuring optimal conductivity, while the non-magnetic hardware contributes to reliable operation. Additionally, the fuse-link can be fitted with a low voltage trip-indicator to activate a field mountable microswitch, facilitating greater operational safety. It is suitable for bolted mounting and is made with a ceramic insulating body material.
