Product Description
The High-Speed Class J (HSJ) fuse integrates the low I2t characteristics of semiconductor fuses with the branch-circuit performance standards of Class J UL Listed fuses. This design supports branch circuit protection in compliance with NEC regulations while offering significantly low I2t values, making it suitable for safeguarding power semiconductors such as diodes, SCRs, GTOs, and SSRs.
With a rated voltage of 600V AC and 500V DC, this fuse operates at a current rating of 70A. Its construction includes silver-plated copper terminals and is housed in a GMG insulating material. The device has a maximum interrupting rating (I1) of 200 kA, ensuring high-performance protection capabilities. The HSJ fuse is also ROHS compliant, reflecting its adherence to environmental standards. Designed for clip mounting, it measures 4.63 inches in length and has a diameter of 1.06 inches, while weighing 0.23 lb.
