Fuse 250V 450A Fast-Acting Class K5 OT Series
Product Description
The Fuse 250V 450A Fast-Acting Class K5 OT Series offers essential protection for electrical systems serving lighting, heating, and other non-motor loads. Designed for one-time use, these OT and OTN fuses can safely interrupt short-circuit currents up to 50,000 amperes across all ratings, ensuring reliable operation in various applications.
It is important to note that these fuses are not rejection fuses, and it is critical to select replacement fuses with equal or higher interrupting ratings to maintain system integrity. The OTN(15-60) variants comply with Canadian electrical code requirements for Type P low melting-point, non-time-delay fuses.
This particular fuse features a rated voltage of 250V for both AC and DC applications, and is classified as Class K5. It has a fast-acting characteristic, making it suitable for protecting against unexpected overloads. The fuse is mounted using a clip and is constructed with a poly tube body, ensuring durability and reliability.
