Product Description
The fuse operates at a rated voltage of 250 V and is designed in accordance with IEC standards 60269-1 and -4. It features an extremely high breaking capacity, making it suitable for protecting power semiconductors. The device adheres to the gR class as per VDE 636-23 and IEC 60269.4. This specific design does not include a trip indicator.
With an ampere rating of 25 A, the fuse has a diameter of 0.73 inches. The clearing I2T at rated voltage is 160 A²s, while the melting I2T is recorded at 30 A²s. Power dissipation when operating at the rated current is 4.8 W. Constructed from ceramic insulating material, this fuse is part of the Protistor® BS88-4 series, size 17x27 aR, and is bolted for mounting.
