The Protistor® fuse-links, rated at 690VAC (IEC) and 700VAC (UL), offer essential protection for power conversion equipment. This model, designated as size 31, is capable of handling a maximum current rating of 350A. It incorporates ultra-fast acting characteristics, designed specifically for the protection of semiconductor devices such as diodes, thyristors, and IGBT components.

Engineered with die-cut elements embedded in solidified sand, these fuse-links effectively manage arcing characteristics, resulting in a lower I²t and a high interrupting rating of up to 200 kA. The melting I²t at rated voltage is recorded at 10,300 A²s, while the clearing I²t stands at 61,000 A²s, ensuring optimal performance under fault conditions. All contact surfaces are silver plated, and the overall hardware is constructed from non-magnetic materials.

For enhanced functionality, the fuse-link can be fitted with a low voltage trip-indicator that activates a field mountable microswitch. The connection terminal is made from silver-plated copper, and the body is insulated with ceramic material, reinforcing its durability and efficiency.
